Shatha Sulaiman Kheder, (center), her husband Adil Kheder Nimr, (right) and their son Steven Adil Kheder, 10 months, head out for a walk from their new apartment in Tukwila, Washington on January 30, 2017. The family arrived in the United States on as refugees from Iraq on January 19, 2017, the day after Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States. They are concerned about thirteen of their family members still in Iraq. Trump signed an executive order last Friday restricting immigration from seven Muslim countries, suspending all refugee admission for 120 days, and bans all Syrian refugees indefinitely.
